# Accounts
An Account represents a company.
Accounts are foundational in SalesMonk because:
* Most buying decisions are company-driven
* Intent is often visible before a specific person is known
Accounts can be created from:
* Website visitor identification
* CRM sync
* Outbound imports
* AI Search results
Each account aggregates:
* All associated leads
* Website activity across visitors
* Signals and scoring
* Inbound and outbound engagement
