How to Access Opening Messages

1. Log in to SalesMonk.

2. Navigate to Inbound in the left sidebar.

3. Click on Opening Messages.

4. Click New Opening Message to begin setup.

Setting Up an Opening Message

Step 1: Add Basic Info

Add a name and description for your Opening Message.

Step 2: Configure Targeting Rules

You can control who sees the message based on:

• Visitor segment

• Page URL

• Company attributes

• Behavior or engagement rules

This ensures the message is relevant and contextual.

Step 3: Define the Message Content

You can:

• Add a welcome headline

• Write a short description

• Include actionable buttons or quick replies

Step 4: Publish the Message

Once the Opening Message is saved:

1. Click on Settings.

2. Select Widget Designer from the side navigation bar.

3. Enable Opening Messages.

4. Click Publish.

The message will now be displayed to eligible visitors.
